Mark joined Childress Ahlheim Cary LLC in 2020 after practicing for several years at a professional malpractice defense firm. Mark’s experience defending corporations, professionals and insurers spans over a decade. He has successfully defended clients in all aspects of litigation from the pre-claim stage to trial and appeals.

He has experience defending a wide variety of complex litigation matters including medical device defects, professional malpractice, construction law, wrongful death, trucking accidents and catastrophic injuries. His past and present clients include physicians, nurses, hospitals, contractors, product designers, manufacturers, and trucking companies. 

He has successfully defended multiple medical malpractice cases and has an in-depth understanding of the underlying science and law. He also has extensive experience in medical device litigation and products liability.

Mark takes an individualistic approach with his cases, acquiring necessary information regarding the client, the subject of the case, and all relevant laws, regulations, and codes. In formulating a defense strategy, he considers the client’s concerns and understands that there can be great variance with regards to a client’s comfort level with the litigation process.

Mark is licensed to practice law in Missouri and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association. Mark currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
